Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and protect painted surfaces and the cowl area with a towel or protective cover.
- Carefully lift or pry the lower center windshield molding away from the glass and cowl to access the existing clips and screws; use a plastic trim tool to avoid scratching.
- Remove old or damaged clips and screws. Apply penetrating oil if fasteners are seized, and clean the channel and mounting surfaces of dirt, old adhesive and corrosion.
- If needed, treat exposed metal with a rust inhibitor and allow to dry.
- Position the new clips onto the molding or into the channel in the same orientation as the originals. Confirm alignment with the windshield and cowl.
